Silicon Valley: Facebook will soon be introducing a 'thread' feature similar to Twitter that will allow users to comment live at events.

As per the report available in the technology website TechCrunch, Facebook is going to launch a "thread" feature to its users "with a little set of public figures". In this connection, the Facebook administration says that the threaded posts will also contain a 'View Post Thread' button, which will permit followers to easily navigate all the posts in the thread.

Though, Facebook has not yet exposed the details of the thread's public roll out feature and it is not yet obvious whether Facebook will make longer this feature to more users.

Matt Navara, a technology blogger and social media consultant, says: "The thread attribute permits you to create a thread by adding a new post to any old post so that the spectators of all the posts built-in is the same as the first post. He also public screenshots of the feature on Twitter.

As per the website, threads are very helpful due to the partial number of characters on Twitter and users merge posts to complete their tweets. Though, due to the be short of cracker count limitations on Facebook, threads can work in a different way. According to the report, instead of a long post, Facebook threads can be used for straight commentary at an occasion, while they can also be useful for influencers.
